the last days i switche dmy provider and i uploaded most of the tutorials at rapidshare.de or http://mu.dr.ag/ so hopefully they are up now forever :)

the harddisk crashed so i have to buy a new one :-( that can take some time but i think i put the tutorials on the bloody rapidshare site so long

since yesterday the server is down it will be probably back up at the next weekend

today i began to add the documents collected @ http://www.phlak.org/docs/ to the Tutorials/Articles Section. for sure as i always do is a link pointing to the source at the bottom of each tutorial. also they are now grouped like they are in phlak

at the moment i have trouble with the machine which provides the tutorials :-( hopefully i can fix it at the weekend. may i switch that box over to gentoo. last week i added one more text tutorial and may i will add the wmf stuff from irongeek.com here too. stay tuned and support www.dieformel.de if you speak german. Today i found the following at the troppix website "The troppix project has been discontinuited for undisclosed reasons, and is no longer available -- sorry." nobody knows why the same happend to 100h.org is also donw just this sentence is left "I've had to shut down the 100h.org forums until further notice. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience." so what happend to devine? it seems like something is going on in the security scene but do not panic may its just a familiy thing or hes got a lot of work now i am sure in the next days someone will let us know more. Let´s hope that everything goes fine with backtrack otherwise there is nothing great left just phlak, pentoo, navynos :( , they are not bad but the most advanced thing was auditor

and i found many hits from a site called http://www.100h.org, i figuered out that ist a forum which handles a distro called Troppix, so i checked the http://www.troppix.net and the latest Release came out on the 27.11.2005

i will check that distro later but i saw that its released from Christophe Devine so i think for wlan experiments its propably a good thing .......

the last two or three days i am looking for a provider with the more than 50gb trraffic and at least 1gb webspace, i found one so far which sounds really nice the name of it is SiteGround there you get 5gb webspace and 100gb traffic for 60$ a year which is quiet a good price i think but it is about 30$ more expensive than right now and google do not want me as ads partner so every similar thing would be great please tell me if you know some. I will let you know if i made a decision. The great thing would be i can provide the VideoTutorials from the Webserver, the problem is i have no idea hoch much traffic i need but 100gb must be enough, hopefully otherwise i have to shut it down if i reach the limit.
Something diffrent, i need a php script which provides the funtion that only people with darklevel.org/index.php/Test as refer(r) can download the Tuts, so that no one can steel my traffic ;)

Good Morning Visitors :) i solved the problem below for further information please take a look at our fine small forum, but now to the more interesting things i added 3 more Articles in its section. Oh i forgot there is a brandnew Security Live CD named BackTrack coming with the authors of whax and Auditor combined more information and the development progress you can find at http://www.remote-exploit.org, the thing which isn´that great is that it will be based on slax instead of knoppix/kanotix

I need UR help, ... i have no SSH connection to my Host so it seems like i have to back up this sites content via the Special:Export function. Which is really great to backup one page only but if i want to back up the hole sites content thr problems will grow, cause the result is a file which can be saver as txt or html only but i need it to import it later in XML more detailed infos you get HERE in my forum ....thx

I moved the Site from Mediawiki 1.4x to 1.5rc4 cause its alot easier to manage and i had too much time at the weekend may i will add here some more sections for me personal thinking about to name them emigrate and/or maybe one called Stories if i add stories there will be probably some short storys but in german may ill translate them later ;) .... i am also looking for a way to paste thumbbails from external sites in here and by the way the DarkSecX blog will be closed soon .... thx for your patience

Since about 5 days i am back online so my machine wiche serves the Video Tutorials is back up but the best would be if you get it by eMule/eDonkey .... also i added a new old V-Tutorial you can find it in its section i also provide since today a packet which includes all Video Tutorial Collection it is available right now via eMule/eDonkey only

What's going on - Where's Whoppix ?

WHAX is the natural evolution of WHoppix - a live cd, standalone penetration testing toolkit. There are some major new features in WHAX which add huge functionality compared Whoppix, and may change the way we use live distributions.

But before we get all fired up, a bit of general information:

Distribution Change

WHAX is so longer based on Knoppix, but on SLAX, a Slackware live cd. One of the main reasons I decided to try this is due to the wonderful world of modularity which SLAX uses. For us, this modularity means that we can easily customize our version of WHAX, and include whichever modules we like. All the tools have been compiled to "WHAX Modules" which can be easily added or removed, depending on our needs.

Modularity

Modularity also makes software updates much easier – for example, if a new version of (such as Metasploit Framework) has been released, we can now download the updated module, and update our livecd / usb stick instantly. This new setup allows for the greatest flexibility, as modules are easy to create (even from windows) – which means that if we want to add that tool (or wallpaper) we always wanted, but never appeared in Whoppix, we can now do it ourselves! A wonderful new software interface makes this whole process a breeze.

I am proud to announce the release of the new version of the Auditor Security Collection CD-ROM. We put in a lot of effort to bring it into that final look and feel as you can see in the [Auditor development log]. It seems to be the best version released ever. Not only because of its completeness, no it seems to be the most stable and bugfree version.

!!IMPORTANT!! You will see that in this version you have to choose between two different ISO versions. This has to be done because systems with an integrated Intel b/g chip based wireless card will not boot with the ipw2100 driver on the cd. If you want to be able to use Auditor Security Collection on a system with an IPW2200 card you need to download the "-no-ip2100" version of the iso otherwise it will not boot.
